In-App Account Deletion

Log in to your NEATPay account.
Navigate to Profile → Close Account.
Review the account closure information.
Confirm your identity using the required security verification (password, PIN, OTP or biometric verification).
Submit your deletion request.

Your request will be reviewed to ensure there are no outstanding obligations, pending transactions, fraud investigations or regulatory restrictions.

What Will Be Deleted

Your NEATPay profile will be deactivated.
Your login credentials will be permanently disabled.
Your wallet access will be revoked.
Linked payment instruments will be unlinked.
Marketing preferences will be removed.
Personal profile information not required by law will be deleted or anonymized.

What Will Be Retained

Certain information cannot be deleted immediately because NEAT Micro Credit is legally required to retain it for regulatory and compliance purposes.

Identity verification records (including BVN and NIN)
Transaction history
Loan and repayment records
Savings records
Audit logs
Fraud investigation records
Tax and accounting records
Information required by CBN, NDPA, AML/CFT, law enforcement or court orders

Such information will be securely retained only for the legally mandated retention period and will not be used for marketing purposes after account deletion.
